Hi I’m Nicola a Wool Painting Artist and founder of my business Fifty Shades of Felt.
Wool Painting is the art of creating a picture or portrait using wool fibres and a needle with a fabric backing.
Wool Painting Pets, Animals, Birds and Landscapes are where my passion lies and to be able to create for you lasting memories in a unique one off forever keepsake is an amazing gift to be able to give.
I have always had a passion for all animals and birds and love the landscapes that evoke special memories. I have two little four legged friends. Kizzy a Lakeland Border Jack Russell cross, a mixed bag I know 
. A very much loved one and this is her favourite place to be, sunbathing. Then there is Max a Lakeland Terrier pup, full of mischief who keeps us all on our toes.
